Open Enrollment is
November 11 – 25, 2025

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review your benefits, learn about plan options, and make changes for the new benefit year. All changes are effective January 1, 2026.

This is your once-a-year chance to:
  • Enroll in or make changes to your benefits.
  • Add or remove coverage for dependents.
  • Enroll or re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
  • Explore voluntary benefit options to customize your coverage based on your needs.
  • Update your beneficiary information in Workday, Fidelity, and any other relevant accounts.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) | You need to re-enroll in your FSA every year.

If you do not complete Open Enrollment, your benefit elections from 2026 will remain the same (with the exception of your FSA).

Enroll or Make Changes

Make sure to enroll in your benefits by November 25, 2025 at this link: Workday.

Do I need to take action?

We encourage you to review and confirm your benefit coverage during Open Enrollment. If you do not make any changes during Open Enrollment, your current health, voluntary, and HSA plan elections will carry over into 2026, except for your Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), which you must re-enroll in each year.

What's New for 2026

Kaiser CDHP Increases
  • For 2026, the IRS is requiring increases to the Kaiser CDHP deductible ($1,700 employee only/ $3,400 family) and out-of-pocket maximum ($3,400 employee only, $6,800 family). There are no changes to copays.
Health Savings Account (HSAs)
  • The 2026 HSA maximum contribution is $4,400 for employee only, or $8,750 for family.
  • Please note: HSAs are for employees enrolled in the Kaiser and Cigna CDHPs only.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
  • The 2026 Healthcare and Limited Purpose FSA maximum contribution is $3,400.
  • The 2026 Dependent Care FSA maximum contribution is $7,500 (or $3,750 if married and filing separately).
  • FSA reminders:
    • You must re-enroll each year to participate in FSAs, as these do not carry over.
    • You have until March 31, 2026 to submit claims for expenses incurred in 2025.
  • If you have a balance of $660 or less in your Healthcare or Limited Purpose FSA at the end of 2025, it will roll over into 2026. Any balance that exceeds $660 at the end of 2025 will be forfeited according to IRS Rules (“use it or lose it”). For 2026 FSA elections, this rollover limit into 2027 increases to $680.
Commuter Benefits
  • You can set aside up to $340 per month for parking and up to $340 per month for transit or carpool expenses in 2026.
  • Interested in enrolling in commuter benefits through Navia? Before logging into the Navia portal, you must first submit a ticket to create your account using this link: Workday Help Case. Once confirmed, you can then enroll directly with Navia using the instructions linked here: Navia Commuter Enrollment. Use code PRP when registering for the first time.

2026 Plan Costs

Proofpoint covers the full cost of your Basic Life/AD&D, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance. You share the cost of healthcare coverage, with premiums deducted pre-tax (except for domestic partner coverage; see Imputed Income below).

Premiums are displayed monthly, and your payroll deductions are based on your pay schedule; bi-weekly or semi-monthly.

Imputed Income

Proofpoint’s contributions for domestic partner benefits are considered taxable income, as is the value of basic life insurance coverage over $50,000. Unless your domestic partner qualifies as your tax dependent under IRS rules, contributions for their coverage are after-tax, and the company’s portion will be reported as taxable income on your W-2. Contact your tax advisor for guidance and open a case if your domestic partner is your tax dependent, at this link: Workday Help Case.
